In shock of being positive hsv 2?

i have been with this guy for 2 years now. i got pregnant by him of november 2008 an my daughter is about to be 1year old this month. i recently had jus left him. a week ago i had shaved using a very perfumy and exfoliating body wash and i think i had an allergic reaction to it because i have bumps down there with whiteheads they look like pimples(sorry thats so gross). i have a cut down there which i thought i had gotten from shaving until last wed my dr said shes gona test that cut for . along with the bumps and the cut i have a uti. so i get a call yesterday and she said that i tested positive for hsv 2. im sooooooo devastated i havent messed around with anyone else but my daughters father for 2 years and im so disgusted. is it possible it could be a false positive? idk how im going to accept this
