Why do Christians insist in applying faith out of the religious realm?

Faith is a religious term, and was created to be applied to religious exclusively. They're confusing terms. Science doesn't use faith. They probably use complete or incomplete inference or deduction, which are the correct canons of logical thinking. Now, faith is believing the truth value of the proposition in the face of the complete absence of evidence, or even in the face of contradictory evidence. By evidence I mean a collection of observable, predictable and reproduceable empirical pragmatic facts. They day I see a scientific hypotesis that's falsifiable, testable, predictable, observable... I might consider religious is not using faith, and that they're using principles of inference instead, I'll might consider they're using science and not faith.
