A PERSONAL Question on Pride....?

Since you asked this in a religious context, I will answer in the same manner. The Word tells us that God hates a "proud look". Pride is glory in something we have done, or the refusal to humble ourselves in some way. Considering that "all of our deeds are as filty rags", what do we have to be proud about? Our pride should only be in what Christ has done. For what we could not do for ourselves, He did for us, while we were yet sinners. In humility should we approach the throne, acknowledging our meager estate and giving thanks for His grace and mercy. Pride keeps us on our feet when we should really be on our knees.
